Waffle (Raffle)

Raffles are currently only being held in Fragrance Marketplace 2.0 (unless approved by Linh).

How to participate in a Waffle:

  1. Read the rules of the Waffler.
  2. Common games;
    1. If the waffle says 10@ $25, that means 10 spots at $25 a spot (two spots=$50, three spots=$75, etc…)
    2. Some waffles will have a +$(dollar amount) or -$(dollar amount) if you choose that specific item.
      • Example: (If you choose Creed Aventus, it would cost an extra +$20 but if you choose Creed Himalaya, you would get back -$50).
    3. Some waffles will have a CASHBACK option (There will be a Money emoji and/or the abbreviation “CB”. If you win and decide you do not want any of the fragrance options, you can choose the Cash option.
    4. Some waffles will have a MINI.
      • Mini: A waffle within a waffle.
      • Mini players are playing for spots on the main wheel/spin (with cheaper entry costs).
      • Paying for a spot on main = guaranteed waffle spot
      • Paying for a spot on mini = you have to win a spot to get onto the main waffle
  3. Sort the comments by most recent.
  4. Find a number that is unclaimed.
  5. Double check the comments to make sure no one else has commented to claim that number before you. If so, choose another number.
    1. If you would like the remaining numbers, simply comment, “Close.”
    2. Some host will put NO RANDOM. This means, you pick your own numbers instead of asking the host to assign you a random number.
  6. Ask waffler for their payment info via Private Messaging (unless they listed it on their post).
  7. Upon sending payment, DO NOT put any notes whatsoever.
    1. If the payment platform requires you to leave a note, use any food emojis.
  8. Send payment.
  9. Waffler will then randomize spin for a winner with a screen recording.
    1. Waffle host will then close up the waffle, confirm all payments are sent, set up a randomized wheel using the DECIDE NOW app.
    2. Going “LIVE” is telling the participants the recording has started. “Uploading” will tell participants that the recording has ended. Uploading the results will vary with host. Average upload time 5-8 mins.
  10. If your spot(s) are not paid for by the deadline that the host put in the body of the post, they will become available to the next person.

How to host a Waffle:

→ 100% of the Fees are put back into the Group’s Giveaway, running a waffle will guarantee you one entry into the giveaway (no limit).

    • There is a $5 fee for waffles, regardless of price.
    • ONLY Trusted Members may run waffles (unless approved by Linh).
    • Everybody else would need to ask Trusted Members to run one of their behalf.
    • Random spins only using the “Decide Now” app.
    • Waffle must have at least ONE spot filled by 24 hours, 50% filled by 48 hours and fully filled by 72 hours.

Rules for Waffle hosts;

  1. Random wheel spins only using “Decide Now” app.
  2. Host a maximum of 6 waffles per day.
  3. Attach high quality photos of what is up for waffle.
  4. Must tag Admin Kevin and follow the FM Waffle Format.
  5. Wait time between last payment & spin are based on the waffler’s rules listed in their post.
  6. Maximum of one active waffle at any given time.
  7. Send the fee to the FM’s Payment Account(s) once waffle is finished.
